After saying goodbye to the Louisiana swamps, Jep and Jess Robertson, along with their 5 children, find a new home in Texas. But they are doing anything but settling down. One motivation for the big move was to pursue Jep’s passion for food, but find success on his own, and not on the coat-tails of his famous family’s hometown following. And in Austin, Jep’s Southern Roots, his beautifully restored Airstream food trailer, has been a hit. The town is eating it up, clueless that behind the scenes a celebrity chef is making it all happen.
